Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, born in Decatur the state of Illinois on the 23rd July 1971, is an incredibly popular and rich Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were amongst the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. Alison Krauss started her music career early, winning local competitions at the age of 10. The singer-songwriter recorded her first time at age fourteen. She was signed in 1985 with Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. She joined the group with whom she performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. They released their first album in 1989.
