Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She belongs to the fourth generation of Robertses who reside in the Atlanta area beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was a theatre enthusiast at an early age. As a student of Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he received his induction into the air force in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. The couple got married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the US Air Force. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple moved in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of the local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted 6 years. They welcomed in 1965 two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
