Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. She's English as well as her father was Nigerian. Her family was raised on a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned an acting BA. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school such as the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha on her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe officially made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was later removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen to play Ashley Davenport. Madekwe appeared in all episodes in the series' second season as the show's regular. But in May of 2013, it was announced that announcement was made that she would leave the show after her guest appearance in the first episode of the series' third season. She starred as Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. In addition to Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared with each other on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had a part alongside her in that show.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, comes from a large Hamilton family. Her parents were Roy and Patty along with her older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey in the summer and winter. She grew up in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley was never a walker, she was a dancer, and at age 2 1/2 years old she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated in high school. Ashley was awarded the best soloist at each of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
